Contacted by "recruiter" by email. It say that I have expressed interest in a job they advertised. I had not. A work at home job with very high salary is described in the email. I sent an updated resume as required. I was contacted by email, then by another email soliciting me. I did some quick research, realized it was a scam and did not reply. I received a phone call from Ande Baker, a woman with an accent but good English. Her email signature lists her number as (646) 480-0416, but the call was from (646) 583-2184 (area code is New York). I tried to get her to talk by asking questions about the company, but she ended the call prematurely with the statement "check the email, all the details are there." On Monday Sept 14 2015, I received the offer email with 4 attachments: EXHIBIT A-START_DETAILS.pdf, Payroll form.doc, About Us and Commercial registration.pdf and a PDF with my full name as the filename. The material uses mainly excellent English with tale-tell gaffs in the details indicating they did a lot of cutting and pasting. The material describes a Work At Home position as a procurement manager. Employees will get a company credit card to do the purchasing, but during the 2 week probationary period employees are required to use a personal credit card. They describe apparent safeguards and say they will not collect banking information. The documents are long, designed to fatigue the reader. They are using an actual company as their cover. BCP AG is a Swiss company with no presence in New York. When I went to the url used by the email server, www.bcppartner.com, I was auto-forwarded to the website of the actual BCP AG company, which is in mostly German. The logo of BCP AG does not match the BCP logo used in the documents. As I am typing this I received a follow-up email asking me to respond and telling me to check my spam folder if I did not see the email. "I have been informed that you are capable of performing your regular duty work as company's full-time employee. We are pleased to offer the opportunity for you to share in our vision and join our team." The email asks me to respond. I will not respond and assume I'll get another call from Ande Baker.
