If yes kindly get back to me on (southerncool10@gmail.com) with your final asking price." I replied with a simple message saying that the car was being inspected but I would let them know if it was going to be available after that. I got a suspicious email reply with poor grammar / punctuation, facts that didn't quite add up, and a request to provide account details or PayPal account. In particular, the email said that the responder was currently offshore working for New Zealand Oil & Gas (NZOG) and were buying for their son who graduated from "Aviation University in Western Australia". One quick google of "Gumtree scam NZOG" revealed this was a fraud. |
