I got a response from a certain Lynzi Lauren requesting me to give her my email address if the dress is still available. I responded wit my email and she immediately indicated that she wants me to ship it to her friend in West Africa and that she would pay R2000 extra for shipping of the dress. I was reluctant and responded with many questions which she chose not answer. she wanted my paypal account and completely did nothing to allay my doubts.
I eventually gave her my paypal account and was paid $400 USD for a dress that was advertised at R3500 and the rest was apparently for shipping costs. I received confirmation via paypal, I suspect it was faked.
I was suspicious at how she insisted on SAPO express airmail I went onto SAPO website to research on their fees. SAPO fees were considerably low compared to the extra R2000 that was paid in, i got more suspicious. I tested her by emailing to tell her that I will use DHL instead and she completely objected. This prompted me to do a bit of research on the internet and found this site with many people who had gone through a similar experience as me over the last few weeks |

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
