Had an advertisement on carsales and received an email of interest. Upon my response i received the following reply:

Thanks for mailing back,am ok with the price and the condition,i work with New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kupe project.We do not have access to phone at the moment,its 15days off and 15days on and that's why I contacted you with internet messaging facility.Regarding the payment,i will be paying you through PayPal,please get back to me with your paypal details so i can process the payment,you can alternatively send your bsb and acct number if you have no PayPal acct.I have also contacted my courier who will come for pick up and deliver it to my place in Darwin after the whole fund has been cleared into your acct.

Trying to buy an iPhone from Gumtree.  First sends and SMS (which you can't reply to) asking you to email.

Then emails the following: 
Thanks for the reply, Actually i am buying it for my cousin as a surprise graduation gift and i will be responsible for the shipping charges via  AUSPOST EMS to her address so that would not be a problem atall which means i will pay $100 AUD for the delivery charges. Let me know your final asking price of it and we can go from there and more importantly,I will like to pay you with paypal because its very easy, fast and secure to transfer money.. and if you don't have an account with PayPal you can easily set up an one by visiting www.paypal.com.au mak e any error on the Payment and to make everything okay with the both parties.
