THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL TELLING ME I HAD BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR A JOB. IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE INTERVIEW I HAD TO PAY KSHS.1,027 VIA M-PESA TO LEONARD OBUYA. THE INTERVIEWS WERE SUPPOSEDLY BEING HELD ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
ONE OF THE LOCATIONS WAS BATIAN GRAND HOTEL IN NYERI. I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL AT 9:30AM AND THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD ME THERE WERE NO SUCH INTERVIEWS BEING HELD THERE ON 28TH OCTOBER 2015.
I CALLED TH NUMBER GIVEN FOR THE M-PESA ACCOUNT AND THE PERSON DID NOT RESPOND. EACH TIME I CALLED, THE TELEPHONE WAS BUSY/ HE IGNORED MY CALL. HE SENT ME AN EMAIL ASKING WHAT I WANTED. I TOLD HIM I WAS IN NYERI AT BATIAN FOR THE INTERVIEW. THE RESPONSE? WHY ARRIVE FOR INTERVIEW WITHOUT SENDING THE MONEY?
I HAD SENT THE MONEY ON 24TH OCTOBER 2015 AS REQUESTED. I CALLED THE NUMBER ABOUT SEVEN TIMES AND THE RESPONDENT LEONARD OBUYA REFUSED TO ANSWER IT.

hurescocareers@yahoo.com sent me an email inviting me for an interview on 24 th January 2017.
The article read, I quote,
"For you to be considered for the job interview you shall be required to send a PARTIAL REFUNDABLE MEDICAL/AGENCY fee of Kshs1,027 to be sent via MPESA number 0797564298 latest by 18th January 2017,the fee is refundable if you don’t pass the interview on the spot via MPESA.
TAKE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT HANDLING ANY CASH AT OUR OFFICE OR AT THE INTERVIEW VENUES.ALL CASH SHOULD STRICTLY BE SENT TO OUR ACCOUNTANT KEVIN OUMA ODHIAMBO
WHO IS THE RECIPIENT OF THE MPESA NUMBER.

I immediately recognized this as a scam and I asked them a few questions to catch them in their lie. I texted, I quote
"Good afternoon, The email I received was quite vague so I have a few questions. Who will be conducting the interviews? Is it the agency or the client? Who is the client? Why do I have to pay a fee to be interviewed? Don't clients already pay HR firms to outsource viable candidates?"
Obviously they could not answer any of my questions and when I told them I was reporting their scam, they wrote "Go and report hahaha"

Please be careful and think before you send money to anyone. You DO NOT pay to be considered for an interview.

Mr. Isaac Muhatia called our information desk to ask for a quotation of different laptop brands and he even gave us the specifications. We responded to the email that he sent us(isaac@reavipingoplantations.ac.ke). We proceeded to communicate and he told us their company had approved a quotation and now requested for the Profoma invoice for laptops worth Ksh. 850,000. We immediately sent him the invoice. The following day Isaac forwarded us L.P.O from their company to approve us to supply them with laptops. He called later and told us to call them two days prio to delivery of Good. We decide to take check the authenticity of Isaac by doing a prio-visit to the company he had told us. On arrival we realised that Isaac was none of their staffs, We also realized it was an impersonation of REA VIPINGO PLANTATION LTD at the Wilson Airport.
We stopped the communication before it was late. Let Isaac Muhatia Identified by Truecaller as OSERIAN JOSEPH ISAAC be warned .

This guys purports to be conducting an interview for Business Development Executive on behalf on an International Airline based at JKIA Nairobi. The said interviews are purported to be conducted across the country in various towns. They send you a text informing of the interview and asking you to check your email where they have sent you and attachment mentioning various towns in Kenya where the interviews will be conducted. It further says that you should send Ksh, 1027 to a BARACK OTIENO AKENGO their purported accountant on 0797949110.
Kindly Kenyans, be guided that NO GENUINE RECRUITMENT AGENCY DEMANDS PAYMENT FOR MEDICAL OR WHATEVER PRIOR TO YOU REPORTING TO YOUR NEW WORK STATION AND WORKING FOR A FULL ONE MONTH.

I have received 2 messages from HURESCO.......the first tym they asked for money claiming that its agency/medical fee....Through the internet I found out that such a company does not exist.....that was in 2015.....today they sent me another message asking for ksh1027 medical fee before the interview......BEWARE applicants HURESCO IS NOT REAL!!

I received a text message informing me that I had been selected for an interview and that I should send a refundable amount of Ksh.1027 prior to the interview date. I looked up the firm on the internet and found out that the interview was a scam. Someone had followed the instructions only to realise he had been tricked.

I received a text message that I should check my email for an interview, after a first experience I decided to look into huresco only to find it's yet another scam,the number is still sending messages asking that I send sh 1027.I wonder where this thugs get people's numbers and even emails.
