Several emails pertaining to setting up a paypal account..(.No need for one myself) ..Asked for certified cheque. He said his work schedule did'nt allow him the time to get a cheque off ... again the insistance of me setting up a pay pal acct.. Once a legit acct was set up . I started to get a very good looking"cut & paste" pay pal logo & letter of instruction!! Seeing that there was alot of info that was being asked for ..I called Pay Pal..direct line to enquire about the conditions that this email was requesting....They assured me that they never request that kind of information from a client...& this was a scam that they have been trying to break!! I did recieve further emails from "John" who said he was worried as he had transferred the funds to my "pay Pal" account..He was just waiting for "me" to send a money gram for $1500.00 to a 1st Divine International Ltd. but it was to be made out to Mitch Meyer Clearwater Flordia 33128 U.S. Upon checking my legit pay pal acct....no transaction had been made or was pending... BEWARE of the "CUT & PASTE" with the Pay Pal logo...it looks very real .. I have reported this fraud to Pay Pal directly...and they have confirmed that indeed this was & is a scam!!! One way I did catch on right away ..was try to print any of these suspicious Pay Pal emails & nothing is there.!!!!! | |||||
