contacted me via my cell number to buy the vehicle I had advertised on craigslist. He claims to be working overseas and wants to purchase it using paypal. I made a paypal account and let him know it. He claims he put in the full purchase price plus one thousand dollars however paypal will not release the funds to me until I pay 1,000 to his shipping agent and send it through western union.
He even sends a few emails that are completely gramatically poorly written claiming to be from pay pal with the western union instructions.
Note: ANYTIME this type of request is made IT IS BOGUS.
He/she needs to get caught this is a crime.
Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
