I had posted an Ad on Craigslist to sell my pontoon boat only to receive a text from a potential buyer. The buyer David Robin (robindavid660@gmail.com) indicated that he wanted to buy my boat. He said he would pay via Paypay, which I did receive emails looking like they were coming from him, When I called Paypal they indicated that they received nothing and could not see any account activity. The Text were being sent from 516-673-4863. I tried to call this number and got noting.
I was being requested to send Money to the following person:
Name: michael pernosky
State: san antonio
City: texas
zipcode:78216
Country:USA
Very Similar to what was posted before me.
Thanks, Ian Cameron

I placed my boat for sale on Craigslist and within 20 min of posting he sent a txt offer full price for the boat but stated he was in the Airforce stationed at Hanscom in Massachusetts. He asked for a paypal to send us the 23,999 and he would send a mover to TN to come get the boat. When we tried to call the phone it was answered by the txt me app, we then got a txt right away saying he was a work and phones were prohibited. All communication had been via txt. We sent another txt asking him to gift the money rather than invoice due to feeling this was not right. We found this email on scamalot and wanted to warn others.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
