Rental Scam
|  +2 A scammer on trovit.com The house is suspiciously cheap.. I was first contacted via text. The man portrays a man of God. He tried to push the house on me. When I asked to see it he told me he needs info from me first. I sent the info he requested he immediately asked for the money. I redirected him and told me I would like to see it. He changed and told me he is verifying my info too his lawyers. I'm sure he figured out I was on too him but I don't want anyone falling for this trick. |

Claimed to be renting a house for cheap. Asked personal info. Emailed a lease agreement and asked for a money gram for rent. Saying he would send the keys after the money.

Beautiful, way too cheap duplex in marietta for rent on Trovit. The man contacted me when I requested info, his English is very broken although it's perfect on the ad. He claims he is working out of state, told me to look at the house through the window and if I liked it, I would have to send him my personal info and a down payment, and then he would send the keys. He sent me a "rental application" by email that was just handwritten, weirdly personal questions. It's a shame because I would love that house.
