Received text as follows:
Hi pal,
Is your trailer tent still for sale? Please get back to me on my private email ( gerrardbanks@gmail.com)
On replying to said email I received this reply:
" thanks for your email, as for me I'm ok with conditions in your advert (ad)
I'm out of town to overseas as a consultant in the Exxonmobil oil and gas industry. I would've called you to discuss about it but phone has been scramble and it's the reason why I contacted you with our internet messaging facility (TEXT)
What's your reasons for selling it and also your suitable selling price?
Just to let you know I'm buying it for my son as my promise gift and would appreciate if you can email available photos of it for me to view since I won't be able to come to see it in person, I want a quick sales with you so kindly get back ASAP"
This is very similar to other reported scammers I have read here which is too much of a coincidence .
Did email back photos before my husband looked the company up and saw an article about this scam on this site.

It wasn't until our third email exchange that he asked for money to be sent to the international courier via moneygram. At which point, it's bye bye.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
