i too, received letter via Canada Post from Johnny Hamilton. As with other scams from this person I have read about, the letter states someone with the same last name as me died a few years ago and was supposedly a Canadian citizen living in the UK. Unclaimed life insurance totals 6.8 million US. the same as the rest of the scams from this source. It is very obviously a scam just from the spelling and grammar used, no letterhead etc. The street address he uses is 63 Cheapside, London UK. How appropriate!
the last posting had 60 Cheapside as his address. He is on the web and obviously has people vouching for him but you can tell that it is a form letter. Nice try, Mistor Johnny (purposely spelled it that way)! People like you make me totally sick. Maybe your letter should have begun with, "This is you're captain speaking! L)L I sure you sewnd this to seniors as well trying to get their banking information.
P;EASE BEWARE A LETTER OF THIS SORT WOULD NEVER BE SENT TO YOU LIKE THIS!
Imagine the last posting had exactly the same amount to offer them. There's more of a chance in a gazillion that the last person that posted is related to me!
