| Beth Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 2016-02-22 20:21:06 Classified Ads Scam Gumtree | +1 Tyler Connore gumtree scam Contacted me saying he was interested in my item on gumtree. I asked him which one, as I currently have a few listed. He couldn't identity which item he was interested in but stated he wanted 'both' (one is a $4,000 car so that is really strange) & immediately rushed into asking for my account no. and wanted to make an immediate payment. He then demanded I supply the condition of the items and their prices. I referred him to the respective advertisements where this is clearly and explicitly displayed. This was really suspicious so I googled his name which came up as Tyler Connore or Ronald Tyler Connor as a scam.
Here's an exert of one of his emails to me.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
