| Anonymous Okatie, SC, United States 2016-05-09 00:40:45 Overpayment Scam Other Job Site | +2 Arbonne Overpayment Scam Received email saying my name was provided by the Arbonne Independent Consultant Locator. Emails said her independent consultant had died from cancer. She wanted to place an order for 30yr anniversary but didn't have a credit card. She wanted to send me a certified check to pay for her order. I looked her up in the Arbonne system and found her. Details gave a birth date of 1965 so I thought it was maybe ok. The order was for a very strange mix of products and totaled over $800 which made me very suspicious once again. I googled the name and locations he provided and the only person I found in her area with that name was 75 (way older than a 1965 bday). I then googled the phone number and saw it was attached to a very similar scam on Scamdex. |

I am a Mary Kay consultant and received an email from our consultant locator service of a potential new customer. The area code is not from around me. The message "I would like to but Mary Kay products from you directly" and preferred text to phone call reply. I googled the phone number and found it here.
Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
