I found this also on Craigslist in Yakima, WA. Another trailer sale but this time for a Scamp trailer. Received all three emails. This time there was a new baby on the way and money needed for a bigger apartment. Similar quanity of money 1900.00, same "interaction party - Amazon", and exactly worded emails from "Omaha"

Same emails received while inquiring about a camper that was too good to be true. Emails below:
1st email
Hello,
My name is Sandra Griffin, I'm emailing you regarding the 2000 Jayco Eagle 12 FSO that I have for sale. The camper is in perfect condition, with no need for additional repairs, no special marks whatsoever, never been involved in any accidents. The interior looks great (smoke-free). The camper has a king and queen bed, roof top Carrier air conditioning, bathroom with shower and toilet and privacy curtain, slide out dinette that goes into a sleeping area that is 6'X4' , city water hookup and 15 gallon fresh water capacity, sink with faucet that has electric water pump, 3 burner stove that can be used inside or outside. It has a clear title with no loans or liens on it. I'm selling the camper because my 21's years old son died 2 months ago in a car accident. A drunk driver hit him and his fiancee coming to our home at his little brother birthday. It was his camper and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to sell it as soon as possible. The price that I'm asking is $1,900.00 Just let me know if you are still interested and where are you located .

You will receive a quick ownership exchange, original invoice, bill of sale filled up with your name, address, signed by me. If you want to go further in the purchase please forward your full name and shipping address and as soon as I receive these information's from you I will forward them to Amazon along with the rest of the details in order for them to open a case regarding our deal, and they will contact you with more information's about the process payment, protection policy, etc. They will guide you through the process so we can complete this deal successfully and in the best manner.

6/6/12 This is the fourth email I received.
Dear Cheryl, I'm glad that you have decided to buy the camper. I have received a letter from Amazon that they have sent you the invoice for payment. I have made already the shipping reservation for your address and the camper will be at your place in 3 days. Just wanted to be sure, that you received it and if you understood how to make the payment and how to confirm it to Amazon. Now I will wait the confirmation from Amazon that you sent the payment so i can start the shipping process and send you the camper.

6/7/12 I decided to ask to speak to Sandra on the phone. The "supposed husband" called and my husband spoke with him. My husband indicated that he knew it was a scam and told him it was sick for him to use a story about a child dieing. The "supposed husband" hung up the phone.

Madison, WI craiglist add identical to the Boulder, Co. add regarding the deceased son's 2000 Jayco Eagle camper for sale. Identical emails.

If you respond to the first (sob story) email, you'll get this one, which has all the hallmarks of a scam (ready to ship, "Amazon" as an intermediary (which isn't Amazon's business at all), etc.
