| Glad Walker Received a friend request from a male dressed in U.S.Army uniform. I accepted and we began chatting on facebook. He has two facebook accounts, one under Donna Walker, the other under Glad Walker. I noticed right away that his uniform depicts him as a chaplain and that his nameplate reads "Glad" which is always the last name. I searched TruthFinder and had a background check run on him and he doesn't exist. He states he is a Colonel for four years and has been in Army for 33 years. He states he has a home in Alabaster, AL and Houston, TX and his home base is in Houston, TX, and is currently on a peacekeeping mission in Africa. He 'fell in love' with me and wanted to come home to visit me. Glad said his friend would loan him the money to pay for the replacement officer while he was gone and that he paid for the leave request form and was broke and needed $1,600 to get here. As I did not fall for his need of money, his chats and texts became less frequent, sometimes a day or so without contact. I played his game for six weeks and then ended it as he would not give me an address to send the money saying a Nigerian Army person would get it to him. I tried to get as much information as I could. Glad stated his wife cheated on him and has been divorced for five years, has a 17 y/o son named David who lives with his sister (Joyce) and attends meteorology courses at a university. |
