| No Name Somewhere in United States 2012-05-31 19:43:23 Classified Ads Scam Craigslist (craiglist.com) | +2 1995 Maxum SC-2300 My name is Annette, and I\'m emailing you about the Maxum SC I have for sale. The boat is in perfect condition, with no need for any additional repairs. Flawless condition, no dents and no mechanical problems. It has never been in salt water. It has 143 hours and it comes with trailer and all the extras included. It has a clear title with no loans or liens on it. The price was reduced at $3,300 as I need to sell the boat before the 11th of June when I will be leaving with my platoon back to Afghanistan, so I don\'t want it getting old in my backyard.
If you have any other questions, or need more info, please feel free to ask.

This person's reply to my ad inquiry follows:
Hello E***,
My name is Jennifer, and I'm emailing you about the Boston Whaler I have for sale. The boat is in perfect condition, with no need for any additional repairs. Excellent condition, no dents and no mechanical problems. It has never been in salt water. Powered by 1-stroke motor with only 106hrs and will come with trailer and all the extras included. I legally own a clear title, free of any liens or loans, under my name. The price was reduced at $3,600. Because of my divorce settlement, i own this boat and as a woman i don`t need it so i`m trying to get rid of it as soon as possible (that`s why i`m selling it so cheap).

A follow up question received the next reply:
Hi E***,
As I told you in my first email, I recently got divorced. I got a new job and moved to Topeka KS for a new start. The boat is already at the shipping company in Topeka sealed and ready for the shipping. My presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with Amazon. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3 days. You will have 5 days to try out prior to making any purchase and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense.
If you are interested in knowing more info about how it works, I can ask Amazon to send you an email with more information on how to purchase it. Amazon will contact you shortly after they have the details with all the information that you need to complete this deal and you will also have proof that I am covered by them and a legitimate seller. If you would like to receive the email from Amazon will all the transaction information please reply with your full name and phone # and they will contact you right away.
Regards
The pictures in her Photobucket link were from what looks like an actual eBay sale of a boat in June which can be seen at the following eBay link:

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
