Other Classifieds Site |  +3 Pay pal I placed an add for a classic car on a UK wbebsite and recived the following E.mail. your site alerted me to this PayPall scam.
Objet : Re: Your enquiry Citroen DS
Thanks for your mail.I will like you to get back to me with your last
price for the item, then i want you to also know that the transaction will
be done via paypal and all charges will be on me,If my offer is accepted
send me your PayPal email including your phone# and send me more pics of
this item if available since i would not be seen it in person so i can pay
it right away I am always busy at work and do not have much time around
me.Make sure you get back to me so that we can arrange for pick up as i
will like the item to be picked at your residence location,so no shipping

Advertised drum kit for sale on ebay and received following email from annie nasal

price,i will be requesting this transaction should be done via
PayPal,so the PayPal charges is on me,kindly send me your PayPal email
or send me money request,you can alternatively send me your bank
account information if you have no PayPal account,so that i can
proceed with the payment asap as am very busy at work and do not have
much time around me.Make sure you get back to me asap,so that we can
arrange for pick up as i will like the pick up to hold at your
residence location,so no shipping.

Advertised a bike on autotrader got the following message (identical to previous ones listed here)

Another JERK wanting to buy my bike unseen and as they are working abroad talk about paying money in to my account and me shipping this.really annoying people. Why dont they get a propper job.
As these never call and only deal via email.

I am interested in buying your bike. I wish i could come for viewing and inspection as am currently out of the country at the moment and i want it picked up before my arrival, though i will be back in couple of weeks. I would like to pay you using paypal due to my inability to make a bank deposit which is safer for me. Kindly send me a paypal payment invoice or create an account with paypal on www.paypal.co.uk if you dont have one. I will make a solid pick up arrangement with the shipping company who will be coming over for pick up once you receive full payment into your paypal account. Have a nice day. Few more photos will be appreciated as well.
