| +2 Untitled Classified Ads Scam , ref:3692 I was contacted by a Matthew Crisell to purchase a caravan i listed for sale on Caravancampingsales.com via a sms message & follow up emails He wanted to buy it for his father from me here on the gold coast and transport it to Darwin as a suprise birthday present I thought that strange why not buy one in Darwin or Cairns . He said he worked on a ship for New Zealand Oil & Gas for5 weeks on &5 weeks off had no phone service that also was strange I went along with it although I had heard of a scam similar to this.I told him ok he arrange and pay in advance for all transport costs He then said he was having trouble with the Courier ( we call them Transport Companies )re pick up dates and delivery etc until it was paid for and he could not do this from the ship Then the final piece of the scam came .He said if I could send the courier company head office in the U.K. via Western Union the $1600 AUD freight costs he would add that cost to the Caravan Price .I new it was a scam then .I then received all this documation and notification and all looked so real I did a Google search and up he popped on this site.I an about to Tell this low life scum bag what I think of him!!!! & F**K OFF |

We had a motorhome for sale. Was followed up with an identical scam from the same guy who told us he worked for NZO&G. Message was identical to the one in which he says it's a birthday present for his father. Got suspicious when we had to pay the courier for him through Western Union. We even received fake PayPal messages. Be very weary of this one!

"Thanks a lot for the email.I am away at sea at the moment,i work with New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project. We do not have access to phone at the moment, its 15days off and 15days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. where is it located at the moment?
I am buying this for my for my father, and i want it to be delivered before my arrival in NT . However, does it have any history I should be aware of? and why are you selling if you don't mind my asking.I am already in talks with the courier that will handle the pick-up and delivery to my family .
As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit, using ppal instant bank wire transfer service, I will need your bank details. If you are not comfortable with that, you can set up apaypal account proper atwww.paypal.com.au and I will make the payment through paypal, this way, all I will need is your paypal email address.
Cheers!!"

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
