Aliner camper offered at fantastic price on local Craigslist. I responded and asked if it was still available. Here is the reply:

Hello,

This is a fine example of a classic 2007 Aliner LX Pop-Up Camper that has truly been well maintained. To sustain my argument regarding the condition of the camper, I\'ve added here a youtube video-presentation, so please check out the following link and you\'ll know exactly what I\'m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9_WCxcTTlc

Since I\'m in urgent need of finding a buyer before my upcoming deployment take place, I\'ve decided to lower the price to $2450. I think this is a more than a fair and reasonable offer under the circumstances.

Thanks for your interest, hope to hear from you soon Jeremy Brannon

I asked to see the camper and received a follow-up email:

Hi again,

I\'m currently serving on active duty in the USMC and at this point and time I\'m stationed on a military facility located approximately 50 miles from Key West, FL. My platoon was assigned to the 96th Battalion CADST and scheduled for deployment in the next couple of days. The camper is here with me, but is essential to be here in the next 2 days. If you can\'t manage to come here before I\'ll be moved to my next duty station, the camper can be transported to your location by a military carrier, transportation charges are included in the selling price.

Due to the urgent nature of sale, I\'d like to conclude this transaction using the security system provided by Google Checkout, they basically provide a secure platform designed to facilitate the payment transfer between buyer and seller. To eliminate any concerns, you will have a 10 days period, when you can arrange your own independent inspection prior purchase approval. After the inspection period ends and you decide not to keep the camper, shipping back will be my concern.

If you want to proceed and you have sufficient funds to complete the transaction, please email me back with the following information.
- Your Full Name and Shipping Address (Home Address, City, State, zip/Postal Code) - Info. required by Google Checkout, they will contact you with simple, easy to follow step by step guidelines.
- Your Phone Number: (Home,Mobile,Office) - Info. required by the shipping company, they will call you with delivery/pickup instructions 1 day ahead so you can communicate what time schedule works best for you to receive the unit.

I look forward to your response,
Jeremy Brannon

I became suspicious and checked Statewide craigslist. Similar ads were in dozens of cities and state craisglists.
