He got in accident, was kidnapped, thrown in jail and his daughter was raped. With all of this he refused to go to the American Embassy. He went to Ghana on business to buy gold, because he designs custom jewelry. He always states that he will pay the money back.

Andrew Anderson claimed to be a Danish American who was single, 61 years old born on 11 August 1950, and looking for a wife. He said he was an engineer and dabbled in jewelery in the spare time. He swooned me and promised that we were going to be married, even offering to get me to the US for Christmas 2 years ago. Cried long crocodile tears over the phone to me when he couldn't make it for Christmas due to 'pressure of work' having to complete a 'contract' for a company in Australia. Then he was coming to where I live for the wedding, which I arranged, but of course he kept postponing. Had to go to Ghana to "buy gold" - Hello! I lived in Johannesburg - THE CITY OF GOLD! - there he had a motor car accident, was 'taken for a ride' by the people processing the gold purchase demanding more and more money for 'documentation', contracted malaria - then disappeared after the 'freight company' he had been dealing with had wanted more money to deliver gold to me - it was all in my name because Andrew's "partner" had double-crossed him and he was 'hiding' in Singapore trying to make enough money to get to me. He and his cronies cleaned out my bank account totally - from R1.1million down to R15000 and completely ruined my life. I had to sell everything I owned and at the age of 61, and I have had to start my life again scraping the bottom of the barrels and will never be able to retire. He is now posing as one Wilson Wood on the website meet4date.com where the photos are the same, but the profile is totally different. Note the inititals: AA now WW - he is definitely part of a scamming outfit manufacturing profiles with names going through the alphabet; ie AA, BB, CC, etc. I WISH I COULD PUT HIS PHOTOGRAPHS HERE - AS HE IS POSING UNDER MANY NAMES ON MANY SITES. The man "Shaun" sounds as if this is definitely the same person!
