Received email reply to my ad for plane asking whether still for sale. Ad. had only been placed 2 days before.

Responded by email saying still available and requesting he make phone call (gave telephone number and name) for more information. Then received further email as follows:

\"Chris,
Thanks a lot for the email. I am away at sea at the moment,on the west aquarius submersible to be precise, we do not have access to phone at the moment, its 15days off and 15days on that we have access to phone, which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. What is your last negotiable price?

I am buying this for my dad in Newzeland, its very hard to get a good one like this on the market, the shipping cost and all will be worth it at the end of the day, I want it to be the perfect birthday gift for my dad he will love this as a surprise so much,he is so much of an enthusiast! does it have any history I should be aware of? I am already in talks with freighters that will handle the pickup and delivery to my dad.I will really appreciate if you can email more info and pics. When will the annual be due, what is the cruise speed knots, what kind of fuel does it burn?

As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit, using paypal instant bank wire transfer service, I will need your bank details (name of bank, name of account
holder, account no).If you are not comfortable with that, you can set up a paypal account proper at www.paypal.com and I will make the payment through paypal, this way, all I will need is your paypal email address.
Cheers\"

Felt suspicious and did some Google searches and came up with Scamdex website with more or less the same worded scam email posted on 25th April 2012.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
