Follow Ups/Extra Information. Most recent is listed first.
The Website claims to be a social networking/dating site. It's suspicious that the top two pieces of information on their website are (1) What is VIPocean and (2) Why are they charging me. They also have a very prominent "100% Satisfied or your money back". In fact that's all the website has. No login page or any other information - they're also in lots of languages, although they appear to be based in Spain.
The 'real' sites at http://www.vipocean.co.uk DO have a login and more information.
The fact that they have your credit card details indicates that you probably signed up for a free trial, not knowing that after a couple of weeks, it reverted to a paid membership. This information may have been hidden in the small fonts.
They say you have the right top a 100% refund as per their website:
Why is VIPocean charging me? VIPocean is charging you because you have signed up for a special offer including a welcome gift and access to VIPocean for a certain period. After the trial period is over, your membership to VIPocean is automatically renewed at a price of £34.95. VIPocean subscriptions do not require any commitment period and can be cancelled at any time.
How can I cancel my subscription? You can choose to cancel your subscription at any time, on the website, under the tab My Profile and Parameters, or by contacting our Customer service by email at: info@vipocean.co.uk, or by phone: 08704711728.
What is VIPocean's 100% Money Back Guarantee? Our 100% Money Back Guarantee provides total refund if you claim it within 30 days after subscription to our Customer service.
