I advertised my caravan for sale on Gum Tree and this fraudster, contacted me via email about the van. He called himself Walter Scott. He told me he worked on the rigs and oouldn't get to inspect the van. (as was one of the other persons advertising a car was scammed by him).
His contact was through:
email: susanlawrell30@gmail.com and her supposed address was 24 Kurrajong Crescent Nighcliff Northern Territory 0810 Australia.
He wrote:
Am so angry right now Singh,as paypal has mistakenly deducted the whole money i wanted to you to pay my daughter schooling in china school fees and now it has been put on your account now due that they were rushing to credit your account asap,I will want you to please help me send the money to my agent headquarters there in china so that they can help me pay it to my daughter school for her school fees as my daughter cant get it herself since she don't have the nationality card.So please try and help me get this one faster as my agent will start exam by Thusday,please get back to me as soon as you have get this done this today and also so that we can fix up a date and time for the pickup to commence after the whole $23,900aud have been credited into your account today.
Silly me taking this as genuine, thought he was trying to get a better education for his daughter.
Needless to say the $23,900 never turn up.

Thanks for mailing back,am ok with the price and the condition.I'm at sea at the moment as petroleum engineer on a rig offshore,i won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work and i would have called but our calling is restricted,also i'll appreciate some photo if possible.Regarding the payment,i will be paying you through PayPal,pls get back to me with your paypal details so i can process the payment,you can alternatively send your bsb and acct number if you have no paypal acct.I have also contacted my courier who will come for pick up after the whole fund has been cleared into your acct.
