There was a fake (unbeknownst to us at the time) invoice for a repaired head gasket, and a title with a woman\'s name on it - he said it was his wife. I later called the woman (her contact info was on the maintenance records) and she said she had sold it with a bad head gasket to a guy the week before for $2,700. BEWARE these phone numbers - I have since found a handful of other ads for cars in Seattle by the same scammers: 425-736-5697 425-623-5368 Have also seen the number in this form: (425)-736-5697 The URL is another ad posted from this same scammer. |
