I sent my BSB/Acc details, home address for pickup and they also have my email and name. As we proceeded with the conversation they then transferred the agreed amount to my PayPal acc but asked if I would pay the courier directly to a Chinese merchant to the cost of $700. As I had asked to have the money be direct deposited to my bank account I was suspicious that they had gone through Paypal. This is when I realised things were fishy. The PayPal receipt I received showing the money was in escrow looked unfamiliar and there was no corresponding transaction of any sort in my actual PP account. Suffice to say I dodged a bullet. But clearly this is an ongoing scam and others beware. I have reported the creep to ACCC in Australia. Below is the email with all the same bull-crap as others before me have received.
