Purchase of birds within Australia require payment being made and bird being sent. I made payment via direct deposit into another Aussie bank account, as i thought by sending the payment to someone within Australia, the law would protect me from theft if i had proof of the transaction. Before purchase i obtained phone number, work place, verified address, email address, license number and Bank details plus had a reference from his friend (HUV Aviaries who verified he had conducted business prior). I then made payments to fawzi upon agreement. During payments i had some unexpected financial issues regarding my car, i explained to fawzi and requested another week for additional payment. Fawzi agreed, i then made payment the following week as agreed then fawzi responded that he had since sold the bird and will not return my money ($1000)

Im a single mother who cares for a disabled child 24/7 and hoped to bring some happiness into our lives by breeding birds, i saved for months to buy this bird, i begged him and said if you perhaps have a change of heart and which to do the right thing and return my money, me and my daughter would be most grateful.

I contacted my bank and they were unable to put a hold on transaction, and police said it was a matter for civil court which i cant afford. He knew he would easily get away with the money and why he was accepting for another week of payment before deciding otherwise. Prior to becoming nasty and ceased contact, he offered me a macaw parrot at a discount rate due to already having my money.
