They asked about negotiating the price but then didn't try to negotiate at all, so I stuck with my gumtree price. in the end she emailed me to tell me she lived in Darwin and worked 'offshore' and would get a courier to collect it. Then I get an email saying she had a problem transferring money and her collection agent wanted money up front and that she transferred an extra $500 to my account to pay for it if I could help her. "All" I had to do was to go to the post office and through western union, transfer the money up front (as I would see the Paypal confirmation email also come through to show the money is waiting from me) to then illegibly have the full funds sitting there for transferred into my bank account afterwards. Told them where to go - no cleared funds in my account - no anything from me! |
