The check was from a school here in MA, The Perkins School for the Blind. I contacted them and they knew all about it, I guess I wasn\'t the first person who received a fake check with their logo, however, I did get the impression that it was an actual account at some point. The woman I spoke with was very evasive, she wouldn\'t give me the name of someone in law enforcement who was handling thief case. It was very frustrating because I had Tim Nauman waiting for me to wire this money. I did file a complaint with IC3.com and put Tim off for a while but no one ever contacted me. I ended up giving him a fake western union conf #, screwed around with him for a while. My last email I said \"Thank You for the entertainment, now you know how it feels to be screwed over by a scammer\" it was pretty funny. I have 35 emails of us going back and forth. He really thought he had me so the last few were pretty amusing as he was begging me to \'please send the money now\" |
