IT was difficult to communicate through text so we called and got no answer. It was a generic message that answered stating something about a google account being unavailabe.
We got an e-mail through what looked like PayPal stating the money was on hold until we could provide a receipt that we sent the shipper $950 through Western Union. The shippers name, Tracy Chester, 5105 Kaynorth Rd apt#12, Lansing MI 48911.
I got onto my paypal account and saw no evidence of any pending transactions so I immediately cancled it.

Text messages agreeing to buy a shed I have on Craigslist. Claimed to be a marine biologist making communication difficult and fleeting for the internet etc. Thus, when I asked the texter to call me, they said they could not. Their texts stated that they agreed to my price, and would send me the money via paypal. The texter asked "Do I accept their offer?".
The texter claimed he was going to buy my item for his father. It is a rather large shed that would need a wrecker to move.
I told him I do not sell via text message, nice try.
Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
