I appreciate your effort and commitment so far with this philosophy of life.If only a lot of people could see things the way you do,this world would be a better place.I admire your vision and your purity of thought,which I find very encouraging.My intention is to assist in creating awareness and helping people in need to live sustainably,so that they can be able to take care of themselves without relying on other people.So however you approach the initiative,it is fine by me.I recognize the need for you to take your time to settle down and tackle issues at your own pace.
I have been a widower for the past 5 years,no children apart from two of my nephews(my late sister's sons) and I am 68 years old.I am a practical person.I have worked in shipping,served in the Army and as a drilling professional.I basically spent my whole life on building my investments,not until this time have I had the inspiration to be involved in community philanthropy work.I really wish to see some purpose to my life after all these years.Hence,I want to help build a unique network community through,which I see would be a practical model to show how we all can live around the world.
I am interested in your project and I am willing to join you in expanding it's reach in reality because it is a worthy project which will go a long way in helping others.In doing this,I want you to be able to reach out to other people on my behalf.I am semi-retired,coping with several disabilities due to complications from stroke and I am under the care of my nephews who are not supportive of my charitable intentions.I hope to overcome these disabilities to enable me become fully active again.
The the reason,I asked how we can collaborate is that.I will expect you to guide this project with your understanding and awareness.Due to your experience,I will be taking into consideration your recommendations and suggestions as we make progress.Do inform me of what would be needed in order of priority and the cost estimates.

Through the email link from IC.org, an Intentional Community website, this person contacted us with the following email: "I am proposing a charity initiative which will help people in need get a job or start a business in order to make a decent living.After much thought,i want you to tell me in your opinion,how we can collaborate with this initiative in relation with your community opportunity.I will be responsible for providing the funding for investing and mentoring the beneficiaries if we can work out a good plan.Let me hear from you.

Through various emails trying to pin down what the person actually wanted and was willing to do (which wasn't until the very last email), they responded with: "Hello (name removed),
I will sponsor them as recommended.I will provide the bulk funding,and you will disburse accordingly.I will need you to also handle disbursements to other people in need that i will inform you.Let me know which bank you use and which banks that are around you,also inform me if you have Paypal,this will be necessary for the disbursements to commence.Let me hear from you.

I replied with interest and received this response:
"I appreciate your enthusiasm,effort and commitment so far.I admire your vision and your purity of thought.In this light,i will be willing to commit my resources in building this project.My intention is to assist in creating awareness and helping people in need to live sustainably,so that they can be able to take care of themselves without relying on other people.I have been a widower for the past 5 years,no kids apart from my 2 nephews(my late sister's sons) and i am 68 years old.As a practical person,i hold myself to a high standard.After school,I joined a shipping company as a ledger clerk,transferred to their sea staff and became a Purser.In 1966,I was conscripted into the Army,became married in 1971,promoted and discharged from the Army (1973) into the reserves for 7 years.
In 1973 I entered into corporate investment with my sister dealing in commodities,real estate,stock and bonds.I basically spent my whole life on building my investments,not until this time have i had the inspiration to be involved in community philanthropy work.I really wish to see some purpose to my life after all this years.Hence,i want to build a unique network community through,which i see would be a practical model to show how we all can live around the world.
