Anonymous Garbsen, Lower Saxony, Germany 2016-12-01 13:15:44 Generic/Unspecified Scam | Emails from multiple addresses/domains (>10) targeting scientists. "Chris Baker" Emails. Scam selling silicon wafers by email.
http://www.universitywafer.com/ http://universitywafers.com/ Email scam selling silicon wafers to scientists and researchers. email address changes every time. Here is a list I have from my email blocking filter (constantly needs updating): 'chris@universitysilicon.com' OR 'chris@buywafer.com' OR 'chris@universitypyrex.com' OR 'siliconp@siliconprice.com' OR 'chris@researchscientist.org' OR 'chris@sapphire-wafer.com' OR 'chris@fusedquartzwafers.com' Also scammer has Google+ account under Chris Baker. multiple complaints in the comments on that page (I tried reporting him there) I have not clicked on these links so I don't know how far this scam goes. At the very least it is email spam at its worst. At it's worst, it is targeting scientists (social network scam) and defrauding them of money or bad products (I suspect no products are ever sold). The websites are very armature, silicon wafers should be sold by Big companies not by a single spammer guy. First time posting here, so i hope that I can finally stop getting spam from this dick!, Thanks |
