Charity scam
|  Mrs. Fiona Crawford Beneficiary I recieved an email a few days ago stating that \"Mrs. Fiona Crawford\" was dying and wanted her late husband\'s estate to be willed to someone who would use it for humanitarian purposes. Suspecting a major scam, I replied to the attorney\'s email, asking how he got my name and email address, since I did not know him or \"Mrs. Crawford\". The origional email didn\'t come from the \"attorney\", but from someone assisting \"Mrs. Crawford\", Abraham Joni. I recieved another email from \"Mark Roland\" with a greeting to \"Dear Beneficiary\", not my name. He detailed Mr and Mrs. Crawford\'s wealth and her issue of dying with cancer for 3 yrs. He said if I wanted the money I needed to keep it quiet and have no third party involved. He asked for my name, gender, occupation, cell number, and form of ID. I did not and will reply. |
