| Anonymous Somewhere in Australia 2017-03-10 08:26:16 Classified Ads Scam Gumtree | +1 Gumtree Scam - Offered to buy car via Paypal Scammer sent a very detailed email informing me that he was interested in my car for sale on Gumtree.
He wanted all information as he would not be available to view the car himself.
Once I gave the response he quickly replied with a further email saying he definitely wanted the vehicle and he would pay via Paypal and to send him my bank details.
I responded with, of course, please send me your full details, name, address, driving licence number etc etc.
Of course - no response. |

The guy offered to buy the car I advertised on gintree, sending me emails asking for banking details and car information. He said that he would organise courier to pick up my car and transfer fund via cheque payment, when I asked for contacts he said the agent headquarter is in Nigeria and he’s an Operating Officer of an oil Rig offshore and he’s so busy that he couldn’y pay them.
