Typewritten letter using your last name, with poor English. Claims to be underwriter with dead relative leaving unclaimed Estate in amount of US$3.8 Million which you stand to inherit. LOL. Seems he can't find anyone else alive, but found YOU! (Oh, happy day! WHAT a coincidence! ... sucker...) Wants your personal info sent to his email or fax number. (Fax number may be real and traceable) Scam. Identity Theft. Purpetrator doesn't want you to mail anything... gee, I wonder why... eh? Letter mailed from within Canada, with real-looking prepaid Canada Post stamp. Envelope may have been stolen from a legit business in Canada and used. On envelope received: P.O. Box 9808 Toronto ON M1S 5T9. Postage paid # 2002541. UK Phone number in letter is of "70- prefix" type, which is typically used to be re-directed to another number, thus hiding the purpetrators real phone number. Someone catch this guy, we have nice cold prisons in the Canadian Arctic for his type.
