  | Tammy Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 2017-05-27 16:25:41 Classified Ads Scam Gumtree |   When I was try to sell my used iPhone 7 via Gumtree's Scammer Information And said that she needed it to be posted very fast cause she want this to be sent as a birthday gift to her friend. I was like, wtf? U buy used phone for a gift?. I confirmed and she said yes, and then I sent her my Paypal me link because I think this is quite weird. And I waited for the payment, but nothing happened, and then a "pay pal" mail just appeared in my junk mail box. I checked it, it said the payment had been deducted and I need to send the item out. And the address was No 21 louguhe supermarket. Hello? A supermarket? And I never know that Paypal can hold a transaction. This is obviously soooo weird, and then I googled the address so that I knew this is a scam mail. Thank god that I didn't do anything! |
