Secret/Mystery Shopper Scam
1 |  +5 Attempted Camera purchase scam by an "Oceanographer" called Polly Wright "Polly Wright" claimed to be an oceanographer and wanted to buy my advertised camera for her daughter as a graduation present in China. This person claimed to have made a transfer to my PayPal account but nothing arrived in my account. There was however, two emails purportedly from PayPal stating that funds would be transferred to my account once I lodged a despatch receipt. The problem for "Polly" is that PayPal don't work this way. I will copy over "Polly" last email below;

Obviously a scam, trying to buy a camera from me on Gumtree and contacted me via text message.
But didn't bother changing the address.
Scam EmailAm glad to get back to you regarding the payment for your item and i believed you have got the confirmation of my Payment in your mail Box, or SPAM FOLDER MAIL as soon as you receive the payment confirmation MAIL i want you to get the item shipped via Australia post EMS Mail only starts with letter (E) and end with (AU) to the address below and send the tracking number to me. So you should be able to ship out the item today and email the Tracking Number to PayPal Department. This is the shipping address below :

Tried to buy laptop off me from Gumtree. Not hard to miss his shit tactics. Obvious he is scammer. Words emails weird.Sent address same as others (Dongfeng Nanlunanshili jujia 16). And idiot who doesnt know how to scam. Watch out to troll.

This loser "Vera Williams" "Verano Williams" "Dylan Williams" with address Dongfeng Nanlunanshili jujia 16, Beijing, China, 100016 tried to buy my laptop. They said they had transferred the money, and told me to check for a receipt from PayPal. Obviously this scammer isn't really sharp as their bogus email didn't even get past my servers spam filter as there was no PayPal email.
Same deal as listed here, claiming their daughter was getting the laptop as a surprise gift (although they used Dylan Williams as the daughters name) for doing well at University. They wanted the laptop "gift wrapped with a note" and sent via Australian Express Post.
Scam EmailJust the usual Gmail source email.

Same person, same deal, same story except the scammer has now changed their name to Vera (Verano) Williams When trying to buy my laptop.
