I received a call saying they want a catering quote for 60 people at a municipal hall. Rice, chicken curry, beef stew. 2 salads,2 veg and 60 assorted drinks and still water. He deposited more than I quoted and said I have to deposit back the extra money unfortunately I did and when I called he did not respond till today. Please don't fall for his tricks

Just today i got a call from my former-maid saying there are people looking for someone to cater for them. then this "martin" ....called me saying he is looking for someone to cater 60 people menu rice,chicken curry,beef stew,2 salads and 2 veggies,still water and assorted drinks.
he later called and said they will deposit the money before 15h30 then i got this fake message that he deposited more than i quoted him with R8400.00 difference. he called to check if i got the money and i told him that i got the notification and not the money,so he disconnected. lets expose this guy and hope the police does something about it because iam worries about our sisters and brothers who are not aware of him and fall for his stupid lies and give him the money

I received a call from a guy called Martin, claiming he has a catering job for me ,for 60 people, needing Rice, curry chicken, beef stew, 2 veg, 2 salad, 60 variety drinks and still water. After giving him my quotation he then in hurry called me told me they will deposit the money before the event, in an hour. Then an hour later I received an SMS notification from standard bank, with an over payment. Few minutes later he calls me, claiming there was a mistake done, and they need to pay their transport man urgently and that he needs a deposit. I must pay back at least R1500 via ewallet. Fortunately I went into my bank account to check if there was really a payment done, only to find nothing.He kept on calling me back asking if I do not even have R500 to give the transport man and I said no. I started getting suspicious. And decided to investigate.... thank God for this page.

I received an sms from Martin Ndebele stating that he wants catering for 60 people rice, chicken curry, beef stew, 2 salad, 2 veg and 60 variety drinks in hammanskraal. He asked me to email him a quotation to martinndebele@webmail.com. His number is 0786851484.

The man called us this morning asking for a catering service for 50 people on Saturday. he then insisted that they will do a payment as soon as possible. the amount we charged them was R7500. but when they made a payment it was R14500. they sent a notice of payment from absa. after that he called asking us to urgently return the other R7000 because they need to do a booking somewhere else for transport, and he asked how much do we have so we can give it to him to pay for the transport. we then realised it was a scam.

Looking for catering for 60 people at Benoni Municipality. Half rice and chicken curry other half beef curry. 2veggies and 2salads. 60 100% pure fruit jiuce and 60 still water. He first called saying they pay beforehand, then he abruptly hung up as if he will call back then the sms came in.

i got a call from the person by the name of Braam he said his looking for the caterer whos gonna cater for 60 people he need account number to deposit the money , i gave him and he send me an absa payment notification of 24700 after i recieve a notification call me and request money saying that he wanted to pay for the bus ,they deposited more money on me by mistake .

I got a call from guy called Martin Ndebele and he said he needs quote for a catering job in Alexandra for 60 people, I sent an quote and he said he needed bank details, it was only later that I realized it was a scam after thinking about the whole situation and how quick it was.

Hi, Martin tried to scam me too on exactly the same thing. Here is the last conversation we had:
Martin: If you dont want to deposet that money today im going to the bank tomorrow morning to stop the payment and cancel everything Me: Im waiting for ur banking details Martin: N VUZANI ac 1550159028 BC 470010 CAPITECBANK Me: Ok, will do first thing tonight Martin: Why not now

The man has just offered me a catering job, nothing has happened yet, but I am now scared he might use my details for something illegal, and I am glad i stumbled into this blog before I got the false transfer into my account.
