Paypal (paypal.com) |  +9 Paypal scam A scam using a fake paypal once it is in the account of any bank they cancel or discover(what paypal told me after telling them) fake check by then they have in their posession what you are selling them in this case it would have been 70,000.00 fishing boat
I love to tell you that paypal is the only online best payment method better than any others of payment because they are safe,trustworthy and secured, and paypal safe and protect the both buyer and seller from fraud, so you can also set up a new paypal account at www.paypal.com ,and get back to me with your paypal email address so i will be able to transfer the payment to you paypal account, I willing to make the payment for you before my shipping agent to pick up the item from you, so if i made the payment today through paypal the pick up agent will be come to pick up the item urgent,so i want you to send me your paypal email account now,so i will make the payment instantly.Kindly get back to me asap.....

This guy is still at it...wants to buy my CL item sight unseen and will send $ to my Paypal account.
I stopped communicating when I realized he was a scammer, but wanted to share with everyone.

he said

I was selling my car and received the following emails.
Using 2 names "Steven Noel" and "Jojo Nicely".
Here is the emails:
Hello Seller,
Thanks for the mail, I'm seriously interested in buying this item for my son and am okay with your selling price, (first) i will love to know the condition of this item.(second). I will love to see the pic of it. I'm a member of UN workers and currently offshore due of my work, i really want this as a surprise gift for my son so i won't let him know anything about this until it get delivered to him. You can mail me back with your PayPal email address, so I can make the payment to you right now and if you don't have an account with paypal you can set up an account today as it's secured and reliable visit their website at www.paypal.com. I will be responsible for the payment fees/charges on this transaction. Do not worry about shipping or picking up as my pick up agent will come and pick it up from you once have made the payment to you.Kindly get back to me asap.

So I replied: Face to face, cash only.
Then, he replied:
I would have really love to come for the viewing but due to my work frame that might not be possible, I'm a UN officer, I'm at work right now so that is why i will not be able to come face 2 face transaction or cash payment.... please consider to sale it for me and my offer and my payment method ... kindly get back to me asap and with your paypal email account, so i can make the payment for you instantly.So my pick up agent will be come for pick up the item from you asap.

Exact same scam still running through Craigslist. Same copy paste email responses. Will not respond to questions. They start out asking a question to get a response ("Is this item still for sale?" even though it was listed just minutes before) my email response had email info. I Googled his name and found this post which confirmed what my gut and common sense was telling me.

Basically same scenario as stated previously, buyer want to use paypall for transaction and have agent pickup the item. Even gave instructions on how to set up PayPal.
I told him that his agent could bring me cash when he came to pick upthe item. After that he dd not respond.
He did not ask if I could go lower on my price, simply agreed to it, red flag.moslt any legit buyer would Haggal a bit to get the best deal, so be smart.
