Showed interest in my wedding dress with exact wording as the other articles
Then I got this email, only if I pay for this amazon card first will it happen. Be warned a paypal email DOES come to you but to your junk and if you look closer it’s full of bad English, bad grammar and is not from paypal at all. I feel so bad for the vulnerable people who will fall for it!

I have completed the payment and i expected PayPal to have notified you to this effect Kindly check your paypal inbox,spam and junk folder for the payment confirmation.I had a little problem with the pick up agent they said they can only schedule the pick up date and time after they receive the pick up fee and the mode of payment they accept is Amazon gift card but due to my disabilities I'm unable to get to the store and get the card so i sent £2,525 in all, £2,000 for the merchandise and additional £525 for the Amazon gift card you will help me to get from the store. Your account will not be credited until you scan the card code to paypal for verification and also to enable my pick up agent to come for pick up and inspection,Below is the name and address of the agent coming for the pick up

Responding to my ad on Gumtree in the UK the scammer asked to converse via email.
''Do you still have this up for sale ? If yes,Kindly reach me out via sragni511 @gmail.com''
and then
''Thanks for the swift response ,i want you to get back to me with the final asking price and the present condition,as am looking to purchase it out-rightly further arrangements on purchases ASAP.''

Same as other reports. Would only correspond via email, which was the first red flag, spelling and grammar was all over the shop (not necessarily a red flag but something that I’m cautious of), and was silly enough to rattle off some story about shipping the phone to a Cousin as he is working off shore as an Oceanographer.
I hope no one else gets bothered by this guy!

I have tried calling but the network so bad for weeks now so I will be glad if you can get back to me with some more pictures if available.Regarding the payment i will be paying you through PayPal as i have linked it up with my bank account so you can get back to me with your PayPal email so i can secure the sales,Alternatively you can get back to me with your account name,bsb number and account number if you don't have a PayPal account so my merchant PayPal account can transfer to any of both account without delay.

Actually i am buying it for my cousins as a surprise graduation gifts and i will be responsible for the shipping charges via AUSPOST EMS to her address so that would not be a problem,which means i will pay $100 for the delivery charges because am posting it to USA. I would have love to call in person but we have call restriction due to bad weather condition our satellite server has been down. I will be paying you through PayPal or transferring the money from my PayPal wire bank transfer to your bank account. Replied to Gumtree ad soon after it was posted asking to respond via email. Similar to other reports, had a long story about sending iPhone overseas as a gift. Seemed dodgy, so searched the name and arrived here.
Received an identical text message from "elena" as the spoofed phone number, asking to reply to the email:

Contacted me with a long complex story to send phone to USA as a gift to a cousin.
Sent me a driving license photo without any prompting. I suspect this is a stolen identity - there is a real Simone Ragni on Facebook and it doesn't look like a scammer's page.
Attempted to pay me using "Paypal" when I specifically told him not to.
Then told me to check my spam folder.
The email is listed as coming from Service@Paypal.com.au but is actually from payment_onlineverify@consultant.com.

Same as previous report said the item was sold on only seeing 1 picture. It didn't sit right with me as why would you be buying a table in the South East to have it shipped to Scotland? email below exactly the same as the previous one.
