Posted ad on Gumtree selling an expensive ring.
Was contacted outside of Gumtree directly by email by Chloe Brown, the.pinkychloe@gmail.com
with the following:
Thanks for your reply and am glad to know that it is still available for sale. However i have few questions on the item you are selling.

1,I would like to know the reason why you are selling it?
2,Do you have the original box for it?
3,what is the present condition of the item and is it ok to be a gift?
4,Do you mind if i pay you through paypal though i would be willing to add an extra dollars to cover

the shipping because am not local at the moment i am out of town on a rig offshore and i would like to purchase this item as a gift for someone very special to me at overseas(Beijing,China). If you do not have PayPal account, you can do so by going to www.PayPal.com to set up your account it is free, easy and guarantees transaction safety.Once you send me your paypal email account, I will send you the payment for your item as well as $70 to cover shipping via Auspost Airmail.
I would be glad if my request is favorably considered, few more photos will be appreciated as well.
Thanks
I did not initially go ahead and asked for a bank transfer and got the following:
I have slight problem with my online banking but i have already attached it to my paypal account so its easier to make payment via paypal and its also safe, secure, guarantee, tr ansaction through their system, you can set up an account www.paypal.com.au and get back to me with your paypal email address or send me payment request or invoice so i can proceed with the payment at once.
I really wanted to sell the ring and so kept going and got the following:
sure im still interested whats your paypal email address so that i can proceed with the payment at once.
This should have triggered me but I gave them my e-mail and then got the following:
Hello,
I have sent the payment from my account.....and i must say this transaction is OK.
Please note: I’m shipping the item to my receiver in China and here is his address below:

Name: OTTE RUDIGER AKI
Address: ChaoyangQu huang SanMudia 10
State: BEIJING
City: BEIJING
Country: CHINA
Zip code:100123
Phone Number : 15810576105

I want you to ship the item via "Auspost Airmail",the tracking number starts with "LK",this is because i want the receiver to avoid customs declaration and tax at destination, reason is because its a gift, the receiver is not expecting it or knows whats inside the package, also i want you to help me wrap it with a gift wrapper and then write, specify and declare it as "Gift" get back to me as soon as its sent......also i want you to go through the PayPal notification email so you'll know what next to do so that your account can be credited without delay.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
N.B.
Make sure you send the certificate or receipt with it if you have one.
I then realised this was definitely a scam as no money has been received and I immediately googled the Shipper to where the goods were to be sent OTTE RUDIGER AKI and found this scam alert on scamalot.

I would be glad if my request is favorably considered, few more photos will be appreciated as well. Thanks
They claimed that they had paid the money into my PayPal but of course that was not true. I asked for evidence but received none and then an email from shipment_pp@mail2Consultant.com. I informed them that I had passed this information to PayPal for investigation and then heard no further from them

She contacted me on gumtree.
I was selling a prada bag she is still currently emailing me. I thought there was something suspicious about it but she told me it was a gift for her daughter in Beijing.
After reading previous notes on here I can see she’s a scam artist. Lol
