Ad was placed on Facebook in a Mom swap group for a 2003 Airstream Bambi. Only two photos were shown. Comments section was deleted asking for all inquiries to be sent to the above email address. I got more info from Jessica via email along with more photos. However, when I responded, the second response included the details of the "free shipping" and the trial period. Add to that the fact that Jessica says she now lives in Omaha, but the RV would be delivered to me in 1-3 days. So, I did a google search that led me here...saw details in submitted emails that were similar to the one I got. Scam!

to me
Hello there,
Thank you for contacting me about my Airstream that I have for sale. This trailer is in great shape. I’m the original owner. It has no damage, no scratches, no leaks, dents or hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident. Has 3 sleeping capacity, length 19 feet. I have a clear title, without liens or loans on it, under my name. It is equipped with a microwave, stove and refrigerator. Has everything a big rig has, in a smaller package hower and toilet, a closet, storage under and above the sink and a curtain to divide the bed. The kitchen is vented. Included are miscellaneous cooking equipment like pots and pans, dishes and other related miscellanea. There is also a trailer hitch lock included. Outside it has a retractable awning and a new air conditioner shroud/cover. The HVAC works great! The price is firm, $2,500. I’m selling it because of my divorce settlement, I own this camper and as a woman i don`t need it and it brings me bad memories so i`m trying to get rid of it as soon as possible. My daughter and I decided to moved with my parents in Omaha, NE trying to start a new life. I want to use Amazon's service for the safety of both of us so if you’re interested in purchasing the camper just email me with your full name, P.o. Box or address including the zip code and phone number, so I can notify Amazon that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.
Thank you for your interest,
Jessica Walker

Hi Susan,
As I told you in my first email, I recently got divorced. I had to move out and now I am living with my parents in Omaha, Ne. At the moment they are the only ones I can rely on. The trailer is here in Omaha at the shipping company, ready to be delivered to its future new owner, but i advertised it on other states also to get more exposure and sell it faster. The deal is handled by Amazon so I don't have much to do about it. Using Amazon`s Buyer Protection Program, you get free delivery. So the price includes free delivery and you can receive the trailer at your address in 1-3 days. In addition, you get 5 days to try it out, and if you don't like it, you can send it back at my expense. The trailer will come with all the documents including title, bill of sale, 2 sets of keys, full service records and everything already signed and notarized into your name. So if you’re interested in buying it just email me with your full name, address including the zip code and phone number, so I can notify Amazon that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.
Thank you and have a great day,
Jessica Walker

Same photos - now in Brunswick, GA.
Email requesting info reads:
My name is Lakeshia and I'm emailing you about the 2002 Airstream Bambi I have for sale. The trailer is in very good shape, no known mechanical issues, is in good condition.
The trailer was never involved in any kind of accident or something like that. Clean title with no damage whatsoever. No leaks, no rust. I legally own a clear title, free of any liens or loans, under my name. The price was reduced to $2,450 as I want to sell the trailer as soon as possible. Due to my divorce I owned this trailer and as a woman I don't need it and I'm trying to get rid of it as soon as possible (that's why I'm selling it at this very reasonable price). If you have any other questions, or need more info, please feel free to ask.
Here you have more pictures : http://s1294.photobucket.com/user/camper4422/library/

Same Airstream but now is a 2003 listed in Rainesville, AL on craiglist for $4805. It is also listed in a Yakaz Ad. Same photo only now in Fairfax, Va. http://for-sale.yakaz.com/airstream-bambi-for-sale#lo=4&docid=000cfoqjfqod7rf8 the price is listed as 4803. Both Ads say new batteries and wheelbearings inspected. If you notice the picture in Va. and Alabama or at the same house. Anyway buyer beware on this one.

Rodney,
Thanks for reaching out! The camper is in perfect condition, looks great and comes with a clear title, full documentation. It has been well cared for and needs nothing. Final price is $3,300 since this is an Urgent Sale! I need to sell the camper by the 30th of November because I will be deployed to a US Forces Japan (http://www.usfj.mil ) base for an entire year.
The camper is located in Maryland at Joint Base Andrews. You can come and inspect the camper at the base or i can deliver it for free at your location. In this case the transaction will be handle by eBay because I fully trust their services, which means you will have a 7 days inspection period before committing to buy the camper. If you're interested to conclude this way please email me your full name and address and I will contact eBay to open a transaction with them. They will contact you to explain the entire procedure.
Hope to hear back your decision soon!

Scam Emaillease take a few moments and read my email, I know it is long but I will explain all the details about the trailer and the transaction.
At the moment I\'m stationed in Bethesda, MD. making final preparations before deploying with the U.S. Convoy.
The camper is at our Military Logistic Department from Fort Belvoir near Bethesda, MD. The Logistic Department will deliver it to your home for free. Since the trailer is in a military base you can not go there and pick it up yourself. Shipping may take between 2 to 4 business days depending on the destination. All needed documents will be provided with the camper .
The shipping process will start after the payment is confirmed with eBay.
For the payment I would like to use eBay as a third party. They will keep the money into an safe account until you get the trailer and inspect it. The funds will be released to me only if you decide to buy after inspection period. You can inspect the camper for 7 days before committing to buy to eliminate any concerns. If you decide not to buy eBay will refund you and shipping back will be my concern. I think this is more than fair for both of us.
If you\'re interested to conclude this way please email me your Full Name and Shipping Address to open a case with eBay. They will contact you to explain the entire procedure. You\'ll receive important guidelines + instructions from them in the next 24 hours.
Thanks

I was shocked to find the exact email except for the name sent to me after I inquired about a craigslist post on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. I figured when the post disappeared Thursday the Airstream was sold, but she emailed me what is below. The second email below appeared after I wrote and said I wanted to see the trailer.
