Los Angeles International Airport
Address: 1 World Way, Los Angeles, CA 90045, USA,

I am MR. DAVID L MAGGARD, Head of inspection unit, United Nations
Inspection Agency, Los Angeles International Airport, California.
During our investigation, I discovered an abandoned shipment through a
Diplomat from United Kingdom which was transferred from Orlando
Airport to our facility here in California. When scanned it revealed
an undisclosed sum of money in 2 metal trunk boxes weighing
approximately 65kg each.
The consignment was abandoned because the content was not properly
declared by the consignee as money rather it was declared as personal
effect/classified document to either avoid diversion by the Shipping
Agent or confiscation by the relevant authorities. The diplomat's
inability to pay for non-inspection fees among other things are the
reason why the consignment is delayed and abandoned.
Fortunately, my assessment revealed that each of the boxes contains
about $4M or more. They are still left in the airport storage facility
till today. The Consignments like I said are two metal trunk boxes
weighing about 65kg each (Internal dimension: W61 x H156 x D73 (cm)
effective capacity: 680 L) Approximately. The details of the
consignment including your name and email on the official document
from United Nations' office in London where the shipment was tagged as
personal effects/classified document is still available with us. As it
stands now, you have to reconfirm your full name, Phone Number, full
address so I can cross-check and see if it corresponds with the one on
the official documents. It is now left to you to decide if you still
need the consignment or allow us repatriate it back to UK (place of
origin) as we were instructed.
Like I did say again, the shipper abandoned it and ran away most
importantly because he gave a false declaration, he could not pay for
the yellow tag, he could not secure a valid non inspection
document(s), etc. I am ready to assist you in any way I can for you to
get back this packages provided you will also give me something out of
it (financial gratification). You can either come in person, or you
engage the services of a secure shipping/delivery Company/agent that
will provide the necessary security that is required to deliver the
package to your doorstep or the destination of your choice. I need the
entire guarantee that I can get from you before I can get involved in
this project.
Remember to re-send your full name, contact address and your private
telephone number. Looking forward to your soonest response.
Regards,
MR. DAVID MAGGARD

This is an advanced fee scam...I also included the full headers. Law enforcement can get them by contacting Scamalot. Please read about the scam below...
Hello ,
I received your email response and I am glad you got back to me on
time so we can discuss about how we will get this accomplished without
further delay. I am also happy that we could confide in each other to
make this a success. I promised that I will personally make the
delivery to your home address and it’s also good to know that you will
compensate me at the end of this mission. Like I stated on my previous
email, the consignment box when scanned revealed that each contains
approximately US$4,000,000.00 (Four Million Dollars). This definitely
implies that the two consignment box have an approximated total of
US$8,000,000.00 (Eight Million US Dollars)
Furthermore, I was able to find out that it was conveyed from the UK
down to CA Airport here in Los Angeles International Airport, where it was brought for
scanning. The agent who was sent to make the delivery to you couldn’t
present the back up insurance cover and he had to forfeit the delivery
to go back. You are so fortunate this time that I found these 2-trunk
boxes containing your funds because the government authorities plans
to have all abandoned shipments confiscated on the next routine check
at the Airport. Therefore, I am very happy that God is about to make
this delivery possible again even after so many years of having
abandoned what rightfully belong to you here at the Airport.
The inspection unit here at the Airport will only allow me to pick up
this your consignment box and proceed to deliver it to you at your
address, ONLY IF we are able to present to them the Insurance Cover of
the funds contained in your the 2-consignments trunk boxes. Without
the insurance cover, it will never be possible for us to get this
mission accomplished. Hence, we have to tackle the issue now as that
is the only delay.
The insurance cover will be obtained in the USA in accordance to the
directives of this unit. I have been able to contact the insurance
company that will process the Insurance Cover of the funds in your
name. They explained to me that the insurance fees would cost you the
sum of US$429.00 and that is all you need to do to get this transaction
completed.
Sequel to the above, they provided their payment details which you are
expected to use to send the fee either through Money Gram or Western
Union Money Transfer.
The information they provided for remittance of the insurance cost is
listed below:
Receiver Name::
State:::
City:::
insurance cover Cost: US$429
Text Question: Love
Text Answer: Lead
From the explanations above, I’ll advise that you get back to me
immediately to let me know when you will send the insurance cost. As
soon as you send it, I’ll forward it to the insurance company for them
to issue us the document in your name. Once we get the insurance paper
from the office, I’ll present it to our inspection unit so they could
allow me to pick-up your consignment and proceed to your address to
complete this delivery immediately. I am glad for the grace that God
has given to me to help you get this delivery accomplished.
I look forward to your response.
