  | Anonymous Brighton, Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom 2011-10-10 10:08:33 Overpayment Scam Paypal (paypal.com) |   john maddox Scammer Information after emailing back and forth he then goes on to say how busy he is and that he cant view the car or contact as he works on a rig and is very difficult to make contact, he then went on to say he was a sailor and he is aboard a ship....finally he asked for my details of my paypal account and address so he can pay the money into my account and arrange for his shipping agent to collect car on his behalf....however he then goes on to say can we help him transfer some money to western union as this is what his agents use to transfer money...luckily for us we smelled a rat on first reading his email, and have since googled his name and hey presto hes a scammer!! so beware....i have had another similar worded email too, from a Brett luiz....think this is a scam too as worded more or less same as john maddox!!! |
