a person claiming to be a small family breeder. After submitting an inquiry about available puppies, I immediately received both texts and emails from this person. The sale price of the puppies was much less than most Australian Shepherd breeders in the area and the response was immediate. Something did not seem right. I Googled the business name Better Aussie Pups and got no results. After Googling the phone number I received texts from, I got a result for scamalot.com. the information in the scam report was for a Great Dane breeder named Marco's Euro Danes. The email contained in the scam report was the same exact email I received, word for word except Great Dane substituted for Australian Shepherd. Many things seemed off about this website and communication from this supposed breeder. The wording was all wrong. The directions on how to proceed with next steps to obtain a puppy were confusing and contradictory. A reverse image search of the photos of the puppy this person emailed to me returned no results. But, I lost my 13 year old aussie last month to heart disease. Our family has had Australian shepherds for over 20 years. I would love so much to get another one. But their recent rise in popularity has made them nearly impossibleto find avaliable and the cost has tripled. This seemed too easy as they were promising puppies were immediately available. So,I nearly fell for it until finding the scamalot report. DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! |
