  | Anonymous Ripley, Derbyshire, United Kingdom 2013-03-25 10:46:18 Classified Ads Scam Gumtree |   Classified Ad Scam Scammer Information Contacted by text mobile number was 82646, by a Jeff Hibbs saying he wanted to purchase an expensive item I had listed on Gumtree. He asked I send the price and pictures to an email address HibbsJeff@bluemail.org.
The price was clearly listed on Gumtree and all photographs of the item.
I fear this is an attempted scam of some kind, if I had actually replied to the text message received.

I have always been one that if it is too good to be true that it is a scam. I had several friends and family look at the site with me and all felt that it was a legitimate site.
