The price seemed too good to be true. After running the VIN and comparing photos in the listing with exact same photos in a past eBay listing (which was legitimate), and contacting the previous owner of the bike, all signs point to "Ashley Brown" being a scammer.
The message I received from "her" in response to my initial inquiry is pasted below.
