Gumtree |  +1 Offer to buy bike accessories on GumTree Responded to a for sale item (motor bike Panniers)
Same story as others have reported on this site Said she had deposited additional money (more than the cost of the goods)in a pay pall account and want me to sent the difference to a contact in China($950)to cover freight costs. The money of course has not been deposited. Same story about working on and oil rig in New Zealand and could not be contacted as others have stated. |

Same as others. offered to by my Camper Trailer which is advertised on www.caravansandmore.com.au. Said she was working in NZ on the Gas and Oil and could not get access to bank only web access, so wanted to do transaction through Paypal. She is very good, I am usually very savvy when it comes to scams, I had queried her on a few thingsthrough email, but it wasn't until she sent an email telling me payment had been made and PayPal should notify you.
This is the email :
I have just completed the payment and i expected PayPal to have notified you to this effect check your mail folders (inbox,spam and junk mail)Â i sent $42,950 in all.i added 2,950 but $2,850 will be sent to my agent in China through western union at post office,the extra $100 is to cover the western union fee. PayPal said they will not release the fund until you email them the western union details for verification,and also to enable my pick up agent to come for pick up and inspection.Here is the agent's details where the money will be sent.
