I had a car advertised on The Quokka (Australian classifieds site), and the Scammer said he was interested but workin on an oil rig so was unable to pick it up and pay personally. He then sent me an email claiming that he would pay me (via paypal) and sent me a fake paypal email claiming to give me an extra $800 to pay the the Pick up Agent (via Western Union), but the money wouldnt be transfered to me until they had recieved the MTCN. I thought the whole thing was a scam from the beginning simply because of odd wording and spelling mistakes, but as soon as i recieved the paypal email i knew it wasnt legit. apperently they use @mail2consultant addresses quite frequently and ask money to be sent via western union or other untracable money wire transfer companies. When the paypal email came through there was a second email displayed (onlineenquiries@mail2consultant.com ). The address of the fake Pick Up Agent was, Nathan Johnson Address: 66 mitchell avenue, gravesend kent DA11 8AX United Kingdom

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
