Gumtree |  +2 Offers to buy items off gumtree Offers to buy items off gumtree without inspection and will \'transfer funds though paypal\'. English is poorly written and they do not mention specifically what item they would like to purchase (even after i asked multiple times) - they just said \'i buy everything\', realised it was a scam and stopped email contact. This number is reported on other scam sites with different names. |

Buyer sent SMS querying what is the "lowest price" on my item. I asked which item but her response was that she will pay me directly through Paypal. I again asked which item. She said all of the items, she does not need to inspect them because she's happy with the photographs. She said she works on a ship in Bermuda and she will arrange for a private courier to pick up all the items from my home address. She asked for my Paypal address and home address. When I said that I'd offer free postage (just to avoid her "mover" coming to my home) the email contact ceased immediately.

Person asked if item was still for sale by mobile but asked to email them without even leaving a name or which item. i asked which item via sms. no reply. sms bad english.
