  | Anonymous Perth, Western Australia, Australia 2017-03-08 01:21:52 Auction/eBay Scam Gumtree |   I put an ad in gumtree and morekatt202@gmail.com responded with request for my email adress immediately Scammer Information Withing a matter of minutes of the ad going live I got a TEXT MESSAGE from "Gumtre" (no number) saying: "is your furniture still available, get back to me with the price via email to morekatt202@gmail.com" This looked odd, considering the price is the first thing you see with the ad. Secondly, I checked my email and saw that I received no email from Gumtree at all -which is what I expect from Gumtree- to send me an email with the contact details of the person interested in advertised good. So I typed in the email address in google to see if its a scammer and the search led me to this website immediately. |
